9 Minds, 1 Terrarium: How Insulet team built a giant terrarium in 2 Hours!
We, at Naug Just Plants, love a good challenge. And when we host a workshop, we're always thrilled to see collaboration in action. But recently, we hosted a Mega Terrarium Workshop that blew all our expectations out of the water — literally!
Our latest group consisted of nine participants from a single office, tasked with building one incredibly large, shared terrarium that would eventually live in their office.
We’re going to be honest: we anticipated some intense negotiations. Nine creative minds, nine different visions, and only one canvas? That's a recipe for passionate debate over plant placement and hardscape design! Our biggest question wasn't if they could build it, but if they could agree on the design!
They proved us delightfully wrong.
This team had custom package that include:
- LECA, sphagnum moss, mixed of live mosses & figurines
- Custom glass in size 90cm (L) x 40cm (H) x 30cm (W)

The final touch solidified the feeling of community. As is tradition in our workshops, everyone got to choose a small figurine to inhabit their new terrarium. We saw 3 Labubu, owls, cat and even a ninja on a small wooden boat, all placed thoughtfully among the plants. It was a beautiful representation of the nine individuals who created it. In just two hours, they didn’t just build a terrarium but constructed an office oasis and a beautiful symbol of their collaborative spirit.
