Nature Wilderness Terrarium by Naug Team
To celebrate our 5th anniversary, we brought a little piece of nature into the spotlight with “Nature Wilderness” Terrarium by Naug Team!
Rather than a formal competition as we did for Naug Just Plants Anniversary Special 2025, this was a fun team activity that gave each outlet the opportunity to express its creativity, share ideas and showcase its terrarium-making skills. With 6 outlets participating, including Naug Office and Warehouse, each team created its own unique terrarium inspired by the Nature Wilderness.
The 6 terrariums were displayed to the public during our anniversary event, allowing visitors to admire the different designs and appreciate the creativity behind each little world. But there was one more exciting part where each Naug Team members got to vote for their favourite design! Each person was allowed only one vote, making every vote count.

Each terrarium had its own personality with different layouts, materials and creative interpretations of the Nature Wilderness theme. From miniature jungle scenes to innovative natural features, every design showed the effort and imagination that went into bringing these tiny ecosystems to life.
After all the votes were counted.. here are the best 3 designs that received the most recognition from the team:
1st Place — Naug Just Plants, Toppen/IKEA by Amirul & Luqman
Naug Just Plants, Toppen/IKEA took 1st place with a design that brought the feeling of a real jungle into a small-scale landscape.
The miniature scenery featured a lush, wilderness-inspired setting complete with cows grazing peacefully in the landscape. The small scale of the design made the scene even more charming, creating a little world that felt alive with its own story.

It was a wonderful example of how thoughtful arrangement and creative details can transform a small space into an imaginative natural environment.

2nd Place — Naug Just Plants, Bandar JB by Syabil & Irfan
Naug Just Plants, Bandar JB secured 2nd place with a terrarium that showcased a creative approach to hardscape design.
One of its standout features was a hanging cork bark decorated with moss, adding an interesting dimension to the overall layout. The suspended element gave the scape a distinctive look and demonstrated how natural materials can be arranged in unexpected ways.

It was a creative interpretation of the Nature Wilderness theme, showing that terrarium design is not just about the plants, but also about experimenting with shapes, textures and structure.

3rd Place — Naug Just Plants, Aeon Tebrau by Nurul
Naug Just Plants, Aeon Tebrau earned 3rd place with a design that stood out for its use of water at the bottom of the terrarium.
Unlike the more conventional layered setup from Naug Just Plants, which often uses LECA and dried sphagnum moss to create the reservoir layer, this design incorporated visible water at the base as part of its overall presentation.

This alternative approach gave the terrarium a different character and highlighted how there are many ways to explore the possibilities of terrariums.

Every outlet brought something different to the table and each terrarium reflected its team's ideas, creativity and interpretation of Nature Wilderness. The showcase also gave the public a chance to see the variety of designs we could create, while the team voting added a little excitement and friendly spirit to the anniversary celebration.
